Sundays are central to our mission. God assures us of his grace in worship. God directs our lives through the Word. God makes known his presence in the Sacraments. Taken together, God helps us love one another like Jesus loves others. The end result is a sense of divine empowerment for another week of work, service, and love. Come and see!
The goal of our ministry to kids is to help them “grow up and become strong in character” (Luke 2:80). So every Sunday morning we invite kids ages 3-5th grade to an age-appropriate learning experience. This begins just before the sermon and ends at the conclusion of the service. We’ll take a break in July and resume on August 8th. th.
Jesus talks about money a lot! He makes us quite uncomfortable while he’s at it. According to Jesus, there’s a significant connection between our relationship with money and our relationship with God. Simply put, we are called to love God in the way we spend and give our money. But this is never a matter of legalism. There are no fees or obligations or contracts. Rather, our giving is intended to be a glad response to our getting. As the Scriptures says, “You know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. Although he was rich, he became poor for your sakes, so that you could become rich through his poverty” (2 Corinthians 8:9).
